The Drugs Problem

Faryal tells Zaryab about Zamil’s drug addiction. And Zaryab doesn’t care that Zamil drinks and takes drugs. She doesn’t care… what????

The Shadows from the Past

Abu Bakar tells Khushbakht about meeting with Malik Asad, the mere mention of the bar drains colour from her face. So, was he the brother or something? Does she hail from a political family and married a normal person or something? In episode 2, the newspaper cutting she was gawking at showed some kind of neta. So, she’s basically abandoned by her maika. That’s my theory.

Wedding

Zaryab comes to ring Zamil in, he throws tantrums first and then agrees on one condition: “After this, you’ll spend more time with me.” Read those words again and you’ll get restless. This isn’t something that UA is exploring for the first time but it doesn’t make it less difficult to process. I know… just a drama and all but…

It’s too late and people are looking for Zaryab. Khushbakht being a Good Samaritan, asks Abu Bakar to help.

Abu Bakar: Zaryab, your family is looking for you.

Zaryab: And who the hell are you to tell me that?

Abu Bakar: Excuse me?

I know, anyone would be just as shocked. I liked how Abu Bakar shook his head to shake the incident off him. It’s proof that if you just let the camera on the actor for a while, it captures more than words or outburst ever can.

On the ride back home, Abu Bakar and Khushbakht are discussing Zaryab. Nice mother-son bonding.

By the way, Durre in both party outfits looked…looked like before, not the slim and fit version we see when she’s in western outfits.

The Worries

Kishwar Jahan spends the night worrying, awake, praying for Zaryab. She fears that something has happened, and looking at the lost expression on Zaryab’s face, I think Kishwar is right to worry. Zaryab, however, thinks that love trumps everything so she doesn’t mind crossing all the limits because she’s in love with Zamil. Crazy! And sad.

Abu Bakar doesn’t want to attend the reception, obviously and he dresses casually so he wouldn’t be asked to come in but he does, and meets people. Beenish, one of his classmates from masters is Shuja’s cousin (Shuja is Faryal’s husband). She is very friendly and Khushbakht thinks that there’s something special between Abu Bakar and Beenish.

A Guest?

Khushbakht comes home and learns that she has a guest waiting.
