Dar-e-Nijaat Episode 14 Written Update And Review
As with Aap Ki Izzat Episode 19, this one’s short notes, details to come later.
Zaryab comes home, asks Dadda: Mujhe Abu Bakar se shaadi karna hai.
Kishwar Jahan calls Khushbakht to come and meet her. Habib learns about this and is happy but apprehensive yet hopeful.
“Khushbakht, tum Zaryab ko apni beti bana lo.” Kishwar Jahan pleads.
The manner in which the question is asked, it makes Khushbakht thing. Does she recall her own time? Saba Hameed was very good in this scene. Sania Saeed also, but Saba aapa was toooo good. And in next scene, the way Shahryar’s expression change from amusement to shock to realization. And then acceptance.
And his acceptance makes Khushbakht briefly shares that she’s indebted to Kishwar Jahan. As always, our calm hero tells his mother to not reveal the secrets that pains her.
After pained expressions, Abu Bakar agrees, but first he’ll meet Zaryab.
Just wow!
And the episode ends on a very UA style romantic-esq scene.
Review
I like the daze-like state Zaryab is in, she has acted well, I mean Durre has acted well. I don’t think ‘I’ve liked her acting since her first drama but she’s good in this once, even if her character needs a lot of growth.
In fact, this episode was full of such nuanced performances. Shahryar wins.
