Dar-e-Nijaat Episode 16 Written Update And Review
Khushbakht tries to tell Abu Bakat about Zaryab but changes her mind at last minute. The mother-son duo goes ring shopping.
Aap “achhi” ting dikhayein, mahengi sasti ki fikr na karein.
Zaryab is out, under the sun. Tanya comes to talk to Zaryab. Zamil calls.
Zaryab’s hopeful.
Zaryab: He might have realized his mistake, must be feeling guilty.
I like how strongly Tanya feels against Zamil. The protective instinct of a sibling at its best.
Tanya: “Yeh ek saanp hai, ek baar dass chuka hai tumhein.”
Zamil, on the other hand, is anxious AF. He calls, he leaves voice messages, he nearly pleads Zaryab to meet him. While he anxiously waits for Zaryab’s reply. Tanya calls and gives Zamil a piece of her mind.
Nameer was sooooo good as desperate, restless, depressed soul.
At dinner table, Zamil announces Zaryab’s engagement. His family sides with Zaryab and gives Zamil blunt answers, kinda a reality check but this guy is beyond reality check.

Zaryab can’t seem to ignore Zamil. When she plays his messages, Kishwar Jahan hears them. Her little lecture was nice but is Zaryab even paying attention.
Kishwar Jahan: Apni ghalti pe tauba karna seekho.
Zaryab: Allah itna bada gunaah maaf nahin karega.
UA’s character speaking like kaafirs. What else is new?
Saba aapa was so good. I didn’t like Dar-e-Nijaat was mentioned. Whenever title is incorporated, I don’t like it.

Zamil calls the security guy at Zaryab’s house to enquire about who Zaryab’s marrying. Desperation at its peak. Aur jo us ko shock laga hai Abu Bakar ka naam sun kar. Hehe.
Kishwar Jahan gives a heavy gold necklace to Zaryab and tells her to respect Khushbakht. Khushbakht’s father was a sunaar, apparently.
Zamil is stalking Abu Bakar when Hamna spots him. Zamil immediately switches to Noman Khan’s video (nice touch of bringing him for a newly practicing muslim). Hamna recalls her last meeting with Abu Bakar. Another scene to show Abu Bakar’s strong character and clarity of thoughts.
Zamil sends Abu Bakar his pics with Zaryab. What games are you playing, bro?
Parting Thoughts
Shahryar Munawwar looks so handsome. And he’s portraying Abu Bakar really well.
