Nashtar | Episode 2

Introduction

Shah Dawood, the proud heir to a powerful landowning family, has always been accustomed to getting his way. Raised under his father’s strict influence, he believes in authority, control, and unquestioned respect. But his confidence is challenged when he meets Bareera Aijaz, a strong-willed and principled university student who refuses to be intimidated by his status.

When Bareera stands up to Shah Dawood publicly, their first encounter sparks a bitter battle of egos. Neither is willing to back down, but circumstances soon force them into an unexpected marriage. Living together brings their differences into sharper focus, as Bareera refuses to surrender her dignity and Shah Dawood struggles to accept someone who will not submit to him.

Yet beneath their constant arguments, a deeper connection begins to emerge. Their resentment gradually turns into respect and admiration, and feelings they never expected start to take root.

However, their newfound bond faces a serious challenge when Tamseel, who has always loved Shah Dawood, refuses to accept Bareera as part of his life. Her jealousy and determination create further complications for the couple.

Will Shah Dawood and Bareera overcome the obstacles standing between them?
Will Tamseel succeed in separating Shah Dawood from Bareera?
Can Shah Dawood and Bareera turn their unlikely bond into lasting love?

Nashtar Episode 2 Written Update and Review

Let’s include some toxicity in our weekly schedule, shall we?

Introducing Danish Taimoor… This time with Anmol Baloch.

The Rebel

Rafay’s father is a doctor. Meeran comes bringing jaggery for Rafay, but falls so the father tends to her. Then, another padosan brings her husband (the cleaning guy). Long story short, Bareera learns that Shah Dawood is where the poor guy worked, does her research on him. Next day, there’s some felicitation and Shah Dawood was the chief guests (because subtlety and delay cannot work for the story). When Bareera is called up, she ignores Shah Dawood and heads to the diad to give a speech.

Anmol’s voice and diction, both lack the “maturity” to leave any impact. When she said, “Main Bareera Aijaz, in ke hath se trophy lene se inkaar karti hoon”, not only did it not leave any impact but also made me feel ewwww.

Dawood: “Send her to my office to apologize and collection donation cheque.”

Just the mumbling of Dastoor Ali Khan upon seeing Faheem gives Dawood enough reason to doubt, so he goes and checks the CCTV coverage because why check that before beating up someone? And I don’t think he’s going to sympathize or correct his wrongs. Woh Deewangi wali harkat hi karega. I mean, I haven’t watched the drama but I know enough about Deewangi and Danish Taimoor both.

Are we watching the episodes next week? Probably.
