Zanjeerain Episode 36 Written Update and Review

I am still not over a casual revelation that “suna tum ne, Shirin mar gayi.”

We see Sahar Hashmi’s cameo as Sohrab hallucinates about Bano. He picks up a shard of glass, and… let’s just say I’m happy that they didn’t show the act, would have been happier if they hadn’t showed the pool of blood.

The scene cuts to Bibi Jaan talking to Shah Noor: himmat ko tootne mat dena. Hausla karo, Umar Daraz ke liye.

~

Torsam refuses to take the sardari, realizing that he never wanted the sardari. And the second decision in jirga was…

Torsam to Gul Mehr: Behtar hai ki hum dono nikaah kar lein.

The scene is eerily similar to that of Rabiya and Sar Buland’s nikaah. Torsam is a murderer, he killed twice, not once. But… this scene showed him to be humane. Usman Javed aced this scene.

Gul Mehr’s bridal outfit was hideous even though she looked very pretty, and their first meeting after nikaah was outright hilarious.

One cannot help but draw parallel to Torsam-Rabiya-Gul Mehr with Sar Buland-Bano-Rabiya. Torsam and Sar Buland are both married to someone else but can’t get over their first love.

~

Rabiya and Noor have a nice scene. Then Rabiya and Sar Buland have a warm scene.

Zumard calls Torsam, to inform what happened to him, and that he’s in his mother’s village, and about Sohrab’s truth.

Zumard: Teri bahot yaad aayegi, apna khayal rakhna.

~

Bibi Jaan can’t stop thinking about Torsam: that he was ousted because of a crime that Sohrab did.

Bibi Jaan: Mujrim ko saza uss waqt milti hai, jab woh jurm kar le.

Sar Buland isn’t happy about it, but Bibi Jaan wants Torsam to come back to haveli (of his father). Little does she know that raita it will spread everywhere.

On the other hard, Torsam also misses Bibi Jaan and his brothers.

Bibi Jaan calls Torsam and asks him to come back.

The episode ends as Bibi Jaan tells Rabiya to prepare a feast to “mera teesra beta”.

Ab aayega maza.

So, can we say that the drama will end next week? Ab toh ho gayi na sab kahani khatam.
