Hum Tum Episode 31 Written Update & Review

It’s here. It’s finally here. The last episode, the finale episode of Hum Tum is here. Woohoo!

Maha is worried about Neha, Sarmad is worried about Adam and they both can’t sleep. I’m getting envious of this sibling bond.

~

Sarim is super insecure about Adam and Neha’s newfound friendship, and it leads to a scene between them at the college. The matter is then presented to Qutbuddin who lashes out at Adam.

His ourburst was almost out of nowhere. I hated how Qutbuddin behaved with Adam. I didn’t really understand why he was so rude to Adam. Adam, being the ever-so-obedient and polite guy doesn’t even explain why he did what he did to Sarim. Neha tries to speak up for Adam, but Qutbuddin does what he does best–scolds Neha to shut her up.

~

Later, though, Neha talks to Qutbuddin. Neha’s conversation with Qutbuddin was the beauty of this episode. It kind of summarized everything wrong Qutbuddin ever did, and the lasting impact it had on Neha. That scene was epic.

~

But the best surprise was Sultan’s stand for Adam. He is not only ready to bring his proposal for Neha but also ready to convince Qutbuddin. And I loved how Sultan talked to Qutbuddin. He wasn’t really begging or pleading, more like bossing Qutbuddin to make a decision in his favour.

“Mera pehla haq banta hai. Maine Neha ko gutthi di thi,” Sultan tells Qutbuddin.

The last episode of Hum Tum did a great job of tying all the loose ends properly and bringing every character to a closure.

  • Mili is learning to speak like a girl…
  • Maha is learning to make breakfast…
  • Sultan is taking responsibilities…
  • Tamanna dadi is opening her offline matrimonial business…
  • Qutbuddin has realized that he was wrong in so many places

This finale was quite satisfactory. Although, Qutbuddin’s outburst on Adam was out of nowhere, and Sarim’s sudden change of heart was also not explained properly. Also, Qutbuddin tells adam that he always knew how Adam felt about Neha. And best of all, Neha admits that she has been in love with Adam for a while. The last two bits were difficult to digest but hey, whatever brings the story to a happy end. Despite a few glitches, I liked the overall episode.

And that brings an end to a month-long rom-com.
