A woman who’s name Rosa Upside Down, who stands upside down on the table in posh hotels when she’s upset, a surpicious murder of a man Rosa knew, and a few people from an embassy are involved. Yikes.

I don’t know what to make of it, really.

Of the three novels in this volume, this one was the tamest. The beginning  of the novel, i.e. the making of a human into a beast was kinda freakishly spooky but then the rest of it was just meh. I think it’s safe to say that when the investigation relies a lot on the women that Hameed runs into, that novel doesn’t impress me much. The villain’s fate was kinda interesting. These days, I feel that Faridi has turned into someone believes in tit-for-tat, y’know. Like: You do evil things, now something evil happens to you. It happened in 101 and it happened in this one as well. I wike it.
