Suni nahin, zamaane ne teri meri kahaniyan

Kar de koi nawazishien karam meherbaniyan

It has nothing to do with the episode review. Just a song that has been stuck in my head since this evening.

So, the sixth episode of Hum Kahan Kay Sachhay Thay is here. It’s based on Umera Ahmed’s novel of the same title. If you’re interested in the novel’s plot. read  this post  for more details).

Hum Kahan Kay Sachhay Thay Episode 6 Written Update

Let’s see what the sixth episode brings to us.

Safi and Mehreen are out on a date. Mehreen hasn’t told anyone in her family about Safi. That’s weird because he has introduced her to his mother.

Much like we anticipate, Safi has received some emails that contains very personal information..of course, we know and Mehreen knows who’s behind the emails.

Incidentally, Saleha and Aswad also come to the same restaurant. Saleha is visibly upset. So is Aswad!

Mehreen confronts Mashal but isn’t it too early? Shouldn’t she have gotten some sort of proof first?

Aswad brings his evil side again. He judges Mehreen, snaps at her. Mehreen doesn’t hesitate to snap back. Love this scene.

Aswad: go to hell.

Mehreen: I’m already there.

The way she collapses on the stairs will just break your heart.

Mehreen finally tells Saleha about Safi.

“I don’t want to lead a loveless life, not anymore.”

Aswad doesn’t want to marry Mehreen, Mehreen doesn’t want to marry Aswad and Aswad wants to put the whole blame on Mehreen.

I like the back and forth between Mehreen and Mashal. Mashal suffers from a severe inferiority complex against Mehreen. They both think that the other has forced them to hate the other. Who’s right and who’s wrong? Are they both correct? Are they both wrong?

It’s hard to tell.

When you see Mashal hurting, you tend to feel sympathy for her as well. Don’t you?

Have you read the novel ? Or my review? What do you think of the story? I will meet you in another review.
