Toxic family visit

Okay, so in this episode, Khadeeja’s family comes for lunch. This toxic family, except for Bilal, remains toxic, so I’m not going to talk much about that.

New job

Mujtaba has started his job at the call center, and it was wrong of him to take a personal call WHILE he was talking to a customer. Honestly, now I know why call center employees are asked to deposit their phones at security.

Chammo’s truth

She is a maid, a caretaker, not the daughter of Khadeeja’s next door neighbour. It was a heartbreaking story of how maids come from village and work here to support two families, maika and sasural both. It was such a random subplot. I’m still trying to make some sense out of it. I guess when the hero and heroine are married at the beginning of the story, such small subplots are needed.

Tamkenat’s arrogance

The most important bit of this episode was Tamkenat’s hatdharmi. She has concluded, basis her poor judgement, that Durdana has gifted the Blue Sky Apartments flat to Mujtaba. She poisons other teachers’ mind, plays her game until Mujtaba comes to see her. He tells her a story, a touching one, that made him hare the school money in class 8. And that he has not asked her mother for money ever since. The story has zero impact on Tamkenat. She is still adamant on getting the paper signed that Mujtaba is not intersted in school or the school income.

Anwar and Ishtiyaq both advise Mujtaba against it but Mujtaba doesn’t want to break ties with his sister about this. Jayedad waqai bahot bada fitna hai bhai.

Uzma has done a great job portraying this hatable character.
