Once an Ordinary street Gangster, falls Deeply in Love with Zarnab, a journalist staunchly critical of his ilk. Determined to win her heart, Munna defies his own Criminal clan, led by his elder brother and mentor, Rehmati. As their tumultuous relationship oscillates between love and hostility, Zarnab undergoes a Deep realization – the true Culprits are not individuals like Munna, but the affluent elite who exploit them as pawns for their own Selfish Gains.

Some Rambling
Before we meet the cast, let me admit that I kinda stumbled upon this after watching the first episode of Zard Patton Ka Bunn. And then I did a double take. The six faces on this poster, all are my favourite. How often does that happen? Almost NEVER.
For example, another drama that I stumbled upon was Jafaa, starring Mawra Hocane, Usman Mukhtar, Mohib Mirza and Sehar Khan, which is 3 out of 4, still a good score, and would have been perfect if Sehar wasn’t in it. So, parking that aside, let’s talk about “Gentleman”.
My only apprehension about this drama was two-fold.
- It’s written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, a guy known for beautifully written dialogues and controversy-inducing perspective on things.
- It’s by Green Entertainment Channel, a channel I’ve avoided because I felt ALL their dramas were too dark and too “uptight”.
I’m willing to let these two apprehensions take a back seat while I watch this drama, at least a couple of episodes. Now, let’s meet the wonderful people who are in it.
