Muamma Episode 16 Written Update and Review

This episode was primarily about Jahan Aara’s father passing away. She comes home from the hospital to find Aashiq coming out of the house. He claims that he had gone there to look for Asiya. He has strict instructions to not enter the house, especially after his snooping around. Inside, Jahan Aara gets a call from Farzana about inteqal, and the sequence left me confused. Jahan Aara has just come back from hospital, in the meantime her father passed away and Farzana is the one calling, not Jahan Aara’s mother?

 

Anywho.

 

Farzana tells Jahan Aara to not attend the funeral but Jahan Aara does, changes into black outfit, doesn’t cover her head (she does when she goes to see Sarmad) and goes to her maika. Sarfaraz creates a scene, doesn’t let Jahan Aara see mayyat, and Jahan Aara has to leave. Shahjahan tries to talk, and they do, without words. He apologizes and she ignores it.

 

Later, Jahan Aara meets Naveed, and offers to help him marry Sajal in exchange for upcoming assignment: cause a rift between Sarfaraz and Rukhsana. Oh, by the way, she has earlier asked Naveed to scare off Mahira so Mahira would go out of the house. Naveed says: what happened to Mahira isn’t anyone problem but Jahan Aara snaps. Apni baari pe sab naseeb pe taal dete hain, she says. What is she doing? Taking inteqaam, plotting to breakup people because apparently they aren’t suitable for each other? Argh.

 

Mahira’s parents and Junaid’s parents meets, they try to solve the situation, but Junaid refuses to take Mahira home. Haw!
