Shabana Mukhtar: Tell us something about you, and how did your acting journey begin?

Zain Mughal: My name is Zain Mughal, and I belong to Lahore Pakistan. I am a young filmmaker and actor. My acting journey started when I was only 14 years old. In school, I participated in theatre performances so that’s why my interest is going to be in acting so in future I want to be a big actor

Shabana Mukhtar: We would like to know more about your upcoming drama. When does it air? Who is the writer? Who is directing?

Zain Mughal: My upcoming drama Jeevan Nagar will go on air in March. This drama is written by Awais Ahmed and directed by acclaimed director Kashif Nisaar.

Shabana Mukhtar: What character do you play?

Zain Mughal: I play the character of Rabia Butt’s neighbour. The story is set in a town called Jeevan Nagar.

Shabana Mukhtar: Is this character anything like you in real life? If so, please tell us. We want to know more 🙂

Zain Mughal: Haha… No, my character is a naughty boy but in real life, I am not naughty.

Shabana Mukhtar: Is it easier to play a character or to be yourself?

Zain Mughal: Yes it’s simple and easy because of Kashif Nisar sir; big respect for Kashif sir.

Shabana Mukhtar: What do you love about this character?

Zain Mughal: I liked my character because it’s a naughty character which is a contrast to my personality. I am not naughty in real life. I loved that about my character.

Shabana Mukhtar: Could you tell us about your colleagues? How was your experience working with them?

Zain Mughal: It has been a wonderful experience with my colleagues because they are all legends. I had the opportunity to work with the legends like Sohail Ahmed sir, Saqib Sameer, Rasheed Ali, Hassan Mir, Rabia Butt, Hamza Mughal and others.

Shabana Mukhtar: Other than acting, what are your passions and hobbies?

Zain Mughal: My passion is to be a professional filmmaker, and my hobbies are playing the guitar and other musical instruments.
