Dil Wali Gali Mein | Episode 15

Okay, so I was partly right about Haji Saheb. He’s not a good guy but he does have some ulterior motive. Apparently, he bribes government officials to get contracts. And, from today’s episode, it is evident that he has some enemies as well. Good news: nothing creepy in this episode, and we’re watching the drama.

In this episode, Deeju continues her whining that she doesn’t get a good vibe from the place and asks Mujtaba that they should go home instead. This escalates to another fight between them, and we see where their insecurities stem from: nicely written scene.

And then enters Sakhi, a guy who takes Mujtaba to be Haji’s aide in his wrong side of the business. What follows is a gripping and hugely entertaining episode. We have two very interesting characters in the cast now. I wish we’d see more of them.

Summary:

Sakhi has escaped from the jail, looking thinner than usual.

Bubbly has kept the loot safe but some money mice ate. Yikes. Sakhi doesn’t mind.

Bubbly tells about an old buddy of Sakhi who didn’t have a “saaf aankh” and casually admits that she took “care” of him.

Deeju says that Sakhi would never do anything to her because uski aankh saaf hai. I guess a subtle lesson about women’s intuition about men? Nicely done.

Mujtaba tells his story to Sakhi, who starts to cry about his own sad love story with his first wife Bilqees. Funny yet touching.

When Sakhi cries to sleep, Bubbly, Sakhi’s wife, let’s Mujtaba and Deeju out.

But we know they will be back.

In other news, Ishtiyaq tries to win over Tamkenat by reminiscing some old memories but boy is she bitter.

Since we saw zero of Deeju’s family, this episode was great, don’t you agree?

More to come tomorrow.
