Dil Awaiz

This is a story of a young girl named Dil Awaiz who despite living in her father’s house is treated as an orphan and is deprived of love and care. Dil Awaiz’s father, Shahab Uddin is an influential and wealthy businessman who keeps his distance from his firstborn, Dil Awaiz due to her mother’s past. Things take an unexpected turn when a handsome, young man Sikandar enters Dil Awaiz’s life and once again she is expected to compromise and sacrifice herself in order to save her family’s honour and respect. Despite living like an outsider all her life will Dil Awaiz be able to make yet another sacrifice? Even after all the atrocities, will Dil Awaiz be able to gain due respect in the house?

Dil Awaiz Episode 33 Written Update & Review  

Sikandar is pondering over his fight with Dil Awaiz. Subhan watches his only son upset, and gives his two cents.

Subhan: 2 kishtiyon ke sawar ko balance karna mushkil hota hai. Ek ka intikhaab kar lo, zindagi aasaan ho jayegi.

Bushra talks to Dil Awaiz and very sweetly tells her to not talk back to Sikandar all the time. I liked it. She didn’t blame Dil Awaiz, but asked her to hold her ground and take control of her life. Bushra even promises her full support for Dil Awaiz.

“Hum hain aapke saath,” Bushra tells Dil Awaiz.

I hope this promise doesn’t fall flat like Sikandar’s. Us ne bhi toh yehi kaha thha. Aur ab…

This is such a pleasant change. Everyone should have a mother like Bushra.

Nawab Shahabuddin thinks of the best way to settle Faria’s life once and for all. Durdana is looking for a proposal for Kashan. Nawab Shahabuddin hesitantly asks Durdana for Faria’s proposal for Kashan. The whole conversation is beautifully punctuated with silence.

Javeria Abbasi has killed this whole scene. The whole time, she sat there with a triumphant smile, knowing what’s about to happen.

Later, she tells Nawab Shahabuddin to think of Faria’s feelings for once.

Baap betiyon ka maan hote hain. Mat chhiniye uss se yeh maan.

Well said, Roshan Ara!

This episode was better in execution but I still don’t have much hope left. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.
