Drama Review | Dil-e-Berahem | Cast & Characters

Introduction

Dil-e-Bereham is a 2019 Pakistani romantic drama series written by Mansoor Saeed and directed by Syed Ali Raza Usama of Bashar Momin fame. Yeah, Bashar Momin is also a draft pending for the past 3 years. I’m too lazy, peeps.

Non-review Rant

I was searching for Dil-e-Jaanam reviews. I couldn’t find that but I found this, and I thought–hey, why not?

Dil-e-Bereham is a love story with revenge at its core. Or should I say that it’s a revenge story with a little bit of romance sprinkled in?

Dil-e-Bereham revolves around a very cliched story–two brothers were separated as a result of a conspiracy in the past, and daughter of the less-fortunate brother marries son of the priviledged brother for revenge.

Where have I heard that story before?

In several novels that publish in monthly digests. This story is done to death, but then I wnated to see Wahaj Ali as a solo hero. I have only seen him as part of an ensemable cast in Ehd-e-Wafa.

So, here goes. Let’s meet the cast and characters first.
