Dushman Episode 2 Written Update and Review

Okay… The story is more fleshed out in this episode. This episode focused more on the children of the Malkani’s

Sassi-Waris Track

So it turns out that Waris and Sassi are secretly married. And Sassi is two months pregnant. Just as I had guessed. Waris ants to keep the baby to bring peace between the two families while Sassi wants an abortion.  Waris manages to convince Sassi to keep the baby and even tells Sassi that he will free her from the shackles at the Rajkot Haveli. All this is to bring peace between the families. Waris is hell-bent upon ending this Dushmani.

Hassan Niazi and Sabeeka Imam have really good chemistry together. And I am rooting for their love.

The Malkanis

Both of them are worried about their children. Malkani of Malik Garh is more worried for her son. As he will be killed if Mai Laali’s people find him.

~

Waris reaches home, safely, and Malkani starts questioning him profusely. I love how Waris tells Malkani the truth but Malkani thinks he was just joking.

Malkani even tells the guards to prepare two graves, the size of a king-sized bed so that they could spend their wedding night there. Little does she know, they have already gone through their wedding night. LOL!

~

Meanwhile, at the Rajkot Haveli, Mai Laali is furious about Sassi’s absence.

~

Waris meets Dada Sain and he tells Waris that there is nothing he can do to end their enmity. That scene was so well executed and Mohsin Gillani shone in that scene. As did Hassan Niazi.

It is also revealed that it was Dada’s father who started this Dushmani. To take revenge for Dada’s lost eyesight, he killed the men at the Rajkot Haveli. This started the endless killing of the men of the families. Scary!

~

Mai Laali’s munshi goes to meet Durri. And Durri says poetry about “Enemies of love” and wow, what dialogues! A must watch scene!

Naila Jaffri nailed this scene! The pain of her lost love in her eyes. Goosebumps!

~

The episode ends with Waris meeting Dr Zain. Calling for a truce on his quest to end this Dushmani.

Drama Review

There are no words to describe, how incredible this drama is. I mean, such crystal clear shots? Production value is so amped, that it felt like a cinematic experience.

The plot is also so juicy and thick. I wish this had been made into a web series. I could binge it all!

The performances. So. Damn. Good! Speechless. Y’all must watch this drama!

Okay, I am done praising this drama.

Until then, check out my other reviews!
