Let’s see what the twelfth episode brings to us.
So, we see Saleha and Safi talk. He is still ready to marry Mehreen, but this dude is also very practical. He knows that his mother might give a tough time given the circumstances. Mehreen’s case is quite controversial.
Safi and his parents are okay with the alliance. Guess who’s now brooding when Saleha breaks the news?
Aswad… This dude is so convoluted. Or maybe he’s just guilty. He’s so guilty, and he’s trying to pin the blame on Mehreen to quiet his concious.
Look at his face – convoluted, isn’t he?
Oh, and didn’t we see that Safi’s mother didn’t remarry? How come he has “parents” now?
Anywho… So as Safi puts a ring on Mehreen’s finger, she reminisces everything that has happened between her and Aswad since this case started.
We see the flashback again. The same scene where Shabbo sees Mehreen making tea for Mashal. The only small bit of new information we see is that there were sleeping pills in the same tea cup. Does this prove that Mehreen killed Mashal?
I loved the episode’s end. Now, we will see Aswad’s true colours.
Parting Thoughts
Does anyone find the background score annoying now? Is it just me?
Huma Nawab and Usman Mukhtar were phenomenal as usual. Laila Wasti is gorgeous as ever. I would love to see some backstory of that night. If they drag it too much, it will lose viewer’s interest.
