Fairy Tale Episode 16 Written Update & Review

Assalam Alaikum, my dear readers!

It’s me, Shabana Mukhtar, back again to recap and review the latest episode of “Fairy Tale”. Are you ready to dive into the drama? Let’s do this!

Newbie Crorepati

First things first, let’s talk about Ummeed.  Ummeed really needs to chill about her newbie crorepati status. She blindly trusts her maid Guddi and her driver Raju. She even lets Guddi take money from her side table. In my honest opinion, she needs to calm down a little. Blindly trusting people around her is not the smartest move.

But that was the rant part. Let’s start with the recap. I mean, let’s move on to the juicy bits.

Shopping Spree

Dadi and Ummeed go out to buy the dream gharara for Dadi. She goes to a tea shop and runs into Asadullah. AK doesn’t leave this chance to hit on Ummeed, again.

“Aap yahan? Kaisa bhonda ittefaq hai,” Ummeed tells AK.

That was hilarious.

AK also offers to partner in Ummeed’s “planned” cafe. Long story short, Raju comes to inform that Aabo Jaan is missing. AK and Ummeed set about looking for Aabo Jaan.

And guess who finds Aabo Jaan?

Wait for it.

Family Drama

Back home, Zeenat thinks that Ummeed has left the house with all her money. This gives this crazy family another chance to panic and gosh was it bleh. Waleed and her mother come to talk to Zeenat about the money. Waleed’s mother is a simpleton, relatively, so she asks for her share – 20 lakh rupees only. Zeenat suggests that Waleed could still marry Ummeed.

Sadly, her plan doesn’t work. Guddi tells the guests that Ummeed has run away again, and that she is getting counselled by a psychiatrist. Waleed and her mother run away. They are happy with Haya.

Farjad and Reena

Out of nowhere, Mahek has developed a crush on Farjad. And, she is jealous of Reena who has come to see Farjad. Farjad doesn’t have any feelings for Reena. All he wants is to meet the artist who drew the painting. He doesn’t find out the truth yet, but he almost runs into someone.

Guess who that someone is.

Now, guess who finds Aabo Jaan?

Farjad, that’s who.

Aabo Jaan keeps ranting before finally telling about her whereabouts. I loved the smile that appears on Farjad’s face when he hears that Aabo Jaan is related to Ummeed. Could this be a sign of his growing feelings for her? Who knows, but I’m here for it.

I also like the scene when Farjad met Ummeed’s family. It was so sweet to see a kinder side of Farjad. He was polite with Ummeed’s family and the perfect gentleman. I must say, it was heartwarming to see Ummeed’s family accept Farjad with open arms, and I also liked how Kamal Pasha and Talal Pasha had differing opinions about Farjad.
