Assalam Alaikum, dear readers! Shabana Mukhtar here, and let’s talk about the latest episode of “Fairytale.” Episode 22 was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I have a lot to say about it.

Tea?

First things first, can we talk about Saher Khan’s unrealistic acting of sipping tea? The last scene shows her taking several sips from the cup, but people don’t make such faces when drinking tea, no matter how much they love tea (like me!) Also, the teacup was empty, so no matter how many sips she took, all we saw was a white mug. Chai peetey hain toh mark banta hai. For a drama who shows the heroine a tea-aholic, we must show real tea. I mean, the whole scene was a bit off.

Farjad’s Jealousy

Moving on, the episode starts where it left off, with Farjad gawking at Ummeed. He then sees Ummeed and AK go out for some work, and he becomes jealous. Very jealous. Farjad decides to call Kamal Pasha and do some chugli (gossip). Long story short, he does everything in his power to limit Ummeed’s meetings with AK. That’s sweet and disturbing at the same time. I mean, I get it that he wants to protect Ummeed, but who is he to be the khudai faujdar? Let Ummeed be.

Ummeed & Waleed

Next up, Waleed calls Ummeed and refuses to marry Haya. So, Ummeed meets Waleed, and one thing leads to another, and Kamal Pasha sees Ummeed putting a finger on Waleed’s finger. Now, Kamal Pasha is all set to fix the wedding between Ummeed and Farjad.

Newbie Rich, Uff!

And then, Ummeed gives 6 lakhs to the visa guy, and then she gives a cheque to a guy who promises to set up a business for Ummeed. I am just waiting for her to go bankrupt. Seriously, Ummeed needs to learn how to handle her finances, or else she will end up in a financial crisis.

In conclusion, episode 22 of “Fairytale” was quite eventful. We saw jealousy, gossip, and some questionable financial decisions. I can’t wait to see what happens next and how Ummeed handles her new predicament. Until then, I’ll sip my tea and hope for the best.
