Hook Episode 15 Written Update & Review

Alright, I’m back with the review of Hook, episode 15.

The host Ayaz’s line of questioning was downright insulting and out of the line, but Jaafar deals with all the questions with grace, calm and composure. His actions may be questionable but he has a certain charm and we can’t hate him.

Zayan is upset with the talk show. When he planned for the media ousting, he wanted Jaafar’s humiliation and downfall. This interview, even though disturbing, kinda helped Jaafar’s cause. He goes to confront Ayaz.

~

Jaafar sees Zayan at Ayaz’s office. It doesn’t take him long to figure out what’s going on. He puts Wali in-charge for finding the truth while he goes home. Smart move!

Wali overhears the conversation between Zayan and his allies. Now, Jaafar can plan his moves better; he’s the mastermind after all.
~

So, Resham shows the talk show to Haya. Later, she tries to malign Haya’s name in front of Amma Bi and Jaafar, that Haya must have told the media about nikaah. Jaafar doesn’t get influences so easily.

The best part was when Jaafar talks to Haya.

“Once I’m out of this media crisis, I will let you take a decision, whatever you want…” Jaafar says.
“Will I get my freedom back?” Haya asks.
“You’re free…” Jaafar says.
“I want to live here, freely, without a worry…”
“You are part of this family. Earn your place, especially with Amma,” Jaafar says.

There, he accepts her as part of his life. Bas Haya, lag ja ab khidmat mein.

~
The episode ends as Resham send Haya to bring tea for Jaafar. I think Resham is taking one step after the other to oust Haya but it always works in Haya’s favour and brings her closer to Jaafar. I like it. Aise villians are the best, hehe.

Review

Faisal Quraishi is so good as cold and pensive politician.

This drama has so many things going on, but when it comes to Jaafar and Haya and the chemistry between them, I am bowled over. Kinza Hashmi and Faisal Q, both look great together.

And that’s the review. How did you guys find this episode?
