Hook Episode 19 Written Update & Review
In this episode, we see some drama and action, and I am here for it!
Jaafar announces that the reception should take place now. Maimoona asks him to divorce Haya once Zayan is married, because apparently, this is all about Haya not being with Zayan. I was like, excuse me, wasn’t this to avenge Shaheer’s death?

Aziz watches the news about Jaafar’s reception and is irritated, because this man has only one job in this drama-to whine all the time. To make things worse, Zayan comes to his house to talk to Safiya. Aziz is like: chal bhag.
Zayan’s mother calls Safiya to talk about Zayan’s “situation”, that Saleem has kicked Zayan out of the house. How would Safiya be able to help in the matter is beyond me.

Jaafar also asks Wali to take Aziz and Safiya shopping for the reception. When they arrive at the reception, Maimoona is all evil and talks trash as she generally does. But at this point, I’m like: I don’t even care.

As one would expect, Zayan comes to the reception party, is able to get into the house, and straight to Haya’s room. Does Zayan have no other work to do? Where is the security? Where is everyone else? How does he know the way around the house? And how did he react Haya’s room? Don’t ask those questions, ma dear.

Anywho, so Reshma intentionally send Jaafar to bring Haya to the party. Masood’s wife Shaista also taunts that Jaafar looks for Maimoona’s approval for everything. This is enough to make Jaafar get up and do the job. He goes to Haya’s room.

In Haya’s room, Haya intentionally expresses her loyalty towards Jaafar, so Zayan who’s hiding would take a cue and buzz off. But he doesn’t.
So, after much wait, the beauty and the beast make their first public appearance.
Maimoona appears by Jaafar’s side but the photographer is like, side mein ho na aunty. It was ironic and funny. Media also asks some inappropriate questions but both Jaafar and Haya have befitting replies.
The episode ends Resham tries to take Haya to “Jaafar’s room”. Oho oho…

This episode was so much fun. This drama is so much fun. I mean, I was initially reluctant, but I love the way Jaafar and Haya’s relationship is shaping up, and I absolutely enjoy how Resham’s plans work in Haya’s favour. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
