Hook Episode 21 Written Update & Review
Sadaf comes to wake up Zayan but Zayan pushes her. Sadaf gets injured and falls unconscious. Sadaf is rushed to the hospital and she’s doing fine. Would Zayan change his obsessive ways now? I’m not sure, but his mother is surely using this incident to blackmail him. Zain does a great job of portraying an obsessive guy.

Safiya calls Jaafar to explain her side of the story, but Jaafar isn’t easily fooled. He pins all the blame on Haya. I like how the phone conversation and Jaafar’s pointed words to Haya were incorporated in the same scene. Brilliantly done. I must praise Faisal and Kinza’s performance in this scene.

Resham tells Haya about Abrar. Haya knows the guys as a rude boss who harassed his employees. Haya wants to inform Jaafar but Maimoona intercepts her before she could talk to Jaafar. That even was so painful to watch. Maimoona’s words are so sharp and humiliating. My heart goes out for Haya.

Maimoona puts Parveen to keep an eye on Haya. The moment Haya goes back to her room, Parveen goes to her room. Now, Jaafar meets Haya and they discuss Abrar.
“Agar meri baat sach huyi toh kya main aapka thoda sa aitbaar jeet sakungi?” Haya asks.
Bhai waah! kya baat kahi hai. Jaafar ghabra kar room se bahar chala jata hai. Hehe…

Mrs Khan is back for the “final deal”, this time with the dude and some relatives in tow.
Just when Mrs Khan is about to finalize the engagement, Jaafar interrupts them.
Jaafar: Abrar isn’t worthy of being part of my family.
Abrar: yeh aap achha nahin kar rahe.
Jaafar (with smirk): bura tum ne abhi dekha kahan hai.
Later, Maimoona instigates Resham by blaming this on Haya. Now, Resham will hit back, hard. But, I think, that it will work in Haya’s favour again.
Review
This drama has too many conflicts but what I like the best is the chemistry between Faisal and Kinza. They are doing a great job with their respective roles. Kudos! This episode was so much fun. This drama is so much fun. I mean, I was initially reluctant, but I love the way Jaafar and Haya’s relationship is shaping up, and I absolutely enjoy how Resham’s plans work in Haya’s favour. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
