Hook Episode 31 Written Update & Review

Assalam Alaikum dear readers,

Shabana Mukhtar here, to recap and review the latest episode of Hook.

Haya’s refusal

Looking at how things are between Jaafar and Haya, Amma Bi decides to take matters into her own hands. Don’t even think that she is sympathetic to Haya. No, ma’am. All she wants is a heir to the throne and that’s all. Who gives a damn about a loyal wife such as Haya?

Amma Bi comes to take Haya home but our heroine isn’t as tame as she seems.

Haya: I won’t go to the house where people tarnish my character.

Jaafar’s anger

Wali comes and informs Jaafar that Haya has refused to come. Jaafar cancels all his meetings (to mourn this) and denounces Haya.

Jaafar: Nobody will go to see Haya again.

I was like: why do you send your wife away every time without listening to her? Yehi thha pyar? Kya hua tera waada? Woh qasam woh irada?

Aziz is suddenly so protective of Haya. It surprises me. In fact, Aziz has been a very unpredictable character.

Maimoona’s conflicting thoughts

Maimoona reminisces Jaafar’s hurtful words. She claims that she never wanted to kick Haya out of the house. All she wanted was to be near Jaafar. That’s absurd. If you wanted to be near your husband, you shouldn’t have been so cruel to poor Haya. Tch.

Maimoona then confronts Amma Bi about bringing  Haya home, but Amma Bi is like: aye tu jaa re.

Sadaf’s confession

Zayan is a changed man now. He takes 15 days off for honeymoon..he even confronts to Sadaf that he has realized sadafs selfless love. Now, Sadaf feels guilty for setting up Haya for a disaster. But she’s a good gal, so she tells Zayan everything.

Zayan flips out.

What else do you expect him to do? He’s flaky.

He decides to go and meet Haya. But that would be another blunder, I think. Every time Zayan goes to meet Haya, Jaafar sees them and it doesn’t end up well. It has happened far too many times. He should have learned s lesson by now.

Resham’s little outing

Resham is frequently meeting the lukkha guy. Is she headed towards a disaster or will she learn the truth about him?

On the other hand, Safiya takes Haya for the doctor’s appointment, Haya spots Resham and follows her, leaving Safiya to worry. Bad idea, Haya, but then… who am I to stop you.

As for our dear hero, Jaafar is worried about doctor’s appointment as well. Again, why did you send her away if you loved her so much? I think that this episode is my least favourite so far. Also, since Haya is chasing Resham, it could also result in a disaster, you know. A prego, following two psychos, what if they push her or something and she loses her baby? Aye pagli ladki…
