Introduction

Saima Akram Chaudhry and Danish Nawaz–the writer and director duo who gave us gems like Chupke Chupke (I quite liked it) and Hum Tum (it was hit-n-miss). This duo now brings us another romantic comedy Kaala Doriya.

Kaala Doriya is story of two families who despise each other. The guy and the girl, especially can’t tolerate each other. When they fall in love, all hell breaks loose. Since Mahnoor caused the big mess in Aman house, Bi Amma is ready to leave the house, Nida is apologizing to Asfi profusely but Asfi acts cool. Later, though, Asfi tells Lattu and Chutki to never talk to Mahnoor. I didn’t expect him to stoop so low for revenge.

Mahnoor’s project work isn’t the best, at least not for Asfi. He objects, Mahnoor retalites, they create a scene in the library. Long story short, they are presented before Professor Hammad and are suspended for a week from the college.

Tabassum Begum and Ikhtiyar Ahmed plan to meet in the park but can’t. Shuja takes Abba Miyan to a specialist, and Abba Miyan forgets to inform Bi Amma. Long story short, she keeps waiting in the park while her family is worried looking for her.

Ouch!

Review

This episode was quite tame. Nothing much happened, the bickering between Mahnoor and Asfi were so clichéd. Tyre puncture karna, patthar marna, these things are done to death.

But I do like the relationship between Tabassum Begum and Ikhtiyar Ahmed. Lovely it is!
