Pyari Mona Episode 2  Written Update and Review

Back in Lahore, Irfan is meeting a family. Hira  and her parents are quite forward. Irfan respects his mother but Hira sees this in a different light, kinda calls Irfan a mama’s boy.

Khalid meets Mona but doesn’t ask her to move back in. Even Mona knows that her mother must have sent Khalid to persuade her to come back to Karachi. This girl is smart, I tell you.

So, Mona comes to Karachi just to meet Ayaan. Babar and Samia aren’t home, and Mona meets Yawar.

Mona is honest and blunt as ever. Yawar is windowed and has a son Sayem. He’s nice but we know it’s not meant to be.

When the couple comes back home, Mona lashes at Babar… She also knows that Babar might have some benefit in this. This girl is smart, I tell you.

This also make things bitter between Samia and Mona.

Babar is such an awful host. He not only makes fun of Mona but also pressurizes Samia to convince for marriage.

And he comes into Mona’s room without permission while she’s sleeping. Ouch! I know where this drama is going, but Babar’s character is a bit too difficult to watch. I mean…

Anywho, so I’m all caught up. Waiting for the next episode now.

Review

The performances are great so far. While Sanam is an absolute favourite, I must mention Sabeeka. The way she talks, she way she moves, she does seem like a person with serious health issues. I love her performance in this, and it has helped me change my opinion about her. The last time I saw her was in a movie, she had an accent. Let’s just say, I was not impressed, but this drama changes that.

I like the episode even if I hate Babar. I mean it’s not Adeel’s fault. He is playing the character with such nuance that I feel like scratching his face.

So long!
