Qarz-e-Jaan Episode 7 Written Update and Review

Ammaar is losing his mind in the hotel room so he calls Maheen from the landline. Even though he claimed that he didn’t remember a thing, he shamelessly admits that it… just happened. The casual tone of his hurt me the most. I mean, isn’t he even the slightest bit guilty of what he had done? And he had the audacity to ask: “what are you doing other than missing me?”
It took me a while to get over the brutality of the scene.
Then, Ammaar calls Sameer and the next thing we know, Maheen is staring at her phone with disbelief in her eyes. We all know it’s blackmail material. Sick!
And, even after that, we see a prolonged insight into Ammaar’s reckless routine as he enjoys being in his room again. No wonder people are obsessing over him. Nameer has given this well-written character a new high. Direction also gets credit for so beautifully depicting the ugliness of it all.

Bakhtiar comes to see a senior barrister Imtiaz at Burhan’s firm and Burhan learns that Nashwa is related to Ammaar. She rants about Ammaar non-stop, and Burhan assesses Nashwa well from that conversation. He’s is shrewd. I like him. He studies people. I wish I could.
Oh, and the conversation happens over coffee. Ahem!
~
Burhan calls Nashwa to get more information about the case. Ammaar overhears the conversation and… Well, things get out of hand. Nashwa gets slapped again, this time by Dadi.
Ammaar also manhandled her twice.
Loved Yumna’s performance in this scene. The way she hiccuped and fumbled with her dialogues, so so real.

The atmosphere at house is trmde. Sidra has severe contempt towards Nashwa and Bisma both. The hatred is dripping from her eyes, don’t you think?
Maheen gets the FIR back. Now what?
