Qarz-e-Jaan Episode 24 Written Update and Review
The first 6-7 minutes of this episode was the prolonged proposal and Burhan confessing about his feelings for Nashwa. It was so painful to watch, even while skipping a few dialogues.
Liked the recitation of “tumhein yaad ho ki na yaad ho”. Also reminded me of Chaudhary and sons when he says: Chai ka kaha thha, tumhein yaad ho ki na yaad ho. Ah, memories.
Nashwa’s cryptic inner monologue indicated that she probably has signed the nikaahnama. Superb acting by Yumna.
Best scene
Bakhtiar: har jagah josh kaam nahin aata e, kuch chizon mein hikmat se bhi kaam lena hota hai.
Ammaar: ab yeh hikmat kaun hai?
Review
Burhan has gotten some of the worst lines.
You’re looking damn beautiful.
Aur bhi bahot kuch aata hai, aap dekhein toh sahi.
Agar tum aise hi mujhe dekhti rahin toh line cross ho jayegi.
Abey?
One candidate is creepy, one is criminal. Kya hoga iss dramey ka?
At one point, he himself said: Uski khamoshi keh rahi thhi ki main jo bakwas kar raha hoon, band kar doon.
Just Random thoughts
Yesterday, I learned that the drama was earlier titled “Khoon baha”. I also watched a vlog where Nameer Khan was walking up the stairs to the 20th floor to shoot the last scene. I remember the teaser where Nashwa is walking away wiping her tears. So, putting it all together, is Ammaar going to jump off the under construction building to repent Maheen’s death? If that’s the case, I wouldn’t want to watch this drama.
