Sirf Shabana presents the story of an educated, independent yet deeply sensitive young woman who longs for a simple but powerful right: to have her own name stand alone, without being defined by a father or a husband. Her journey unfolds as a courageous fight against societal norms, legal barriers, and emotional struggles, as she strives to claim an identity that truly belongs to her.

Why Watching This Drama?
I mean, come on, do we even need a reason?
I’ve been meaning to post about this drama since I first saw the poster somewhere. Just Sohai’s face, and I was like: I must watch it, even though the poster shows extra shosha in Urdu script of “Shabana”.
I remember there was a Bollywood movie “Naam Shabana” and I never heard the end of it from colleagues. Then, there was a movie where Tapsee Pannu played a badass spy or something named Shabana. That was another round of jokes.
And many, many years later, this drama. So, sure, why not?
Also because Sohai and Adeel both are my absolute favs! Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is over, I need something else to rant about, right? This is my one rant outlet and I’m not letting go of it.
Go check cast and characters now.
Until we meet again, check out my books on Amazon. You can subscribe for Kindle Unlimited for free for the first month, just saying 🙂
