Yesterday, I watched a YouTube video on Reedsy’s channel about NaNoWriMo mid-month slump. If you are a writer, you must have heard of it. If you aren’t, Reedsy is a platform that connects authors with professional like editors, covert designers etc. They also have a blog and a YouTube channel for writing, publishing, marketing advices….

This is getting tougher. I have a family wedding to attend to, and I didn’t even get time to scratch my head or even look at my WIP today, let alone writing a single word. 0 again. Shabana Mukhtar

  Only 234 words, that’s such a shame. But I have about 200 guests to attend to. I blame myself for taking part in NaNoWriMo 2021. I don’t think I can write enough to meet the goal this year. I have 17 more days, but still… Shabana Mukhtar

    I finished the day at 26786, which is roughly 16786 words in November. That’s about 120 words more than the target. I’m not doing so bad after all 🙂 The story is shaping up pretty nicely and I’m already getting ideas for sequels. I’m too ambitious at times. 19 days to go… Shabana…

Yayyy! I’m making progress, again. Finally!!! My current word-count stands at 25,587, out of which ~10K words were part of the outline. So, it means that I’ve finished ~15K words in these 9 days. Let me check **using google to do the math**. Hey, that was all I needed. I’ve finished a little over 15000…

Okay, yet another day has passed. I’m wrote 1103 words which doesn’t reach the daily goal. But it’s something. I’m beginning to think that I might have to take a day off to cover the backlog. I’m disappointed in myself. How’s everyone else fairing with their projects? Shabana Mukhtar

Another disastrous day. I didn’t get a moment to sit down and write. The story is hair bubbling in my head ready to be inked, but I just don’t have the time. And then when I get to bed, I’m too tired to write. Argh! Only 0 words today. My dream to win NaNoWriMo 2021…
