Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

So, here goes. Let’s meet the cast and characters first.
Tere Bin Episode 9 Written Update and Review
So, Meerub says no to nikaah. Because she wants to talk to Murtasim. Is she going to ask Murtasim to marry Haya as well? Kya chal Raha hai?
Anywho, so first we see how Meerub wanted to see herself in the mirror:
kyunki main apne liye tayyar hoti hoon…
so Murtasim is like:
go ahead, suit yourself.
Then, Meerub asks Murtasim to sign some papers. There are no dialogues but the documents are shown from upclose. Those who can read Urdu can tell that the document has clauses of a contract marriage such as:
- This relationship is only for name sake
- Murtasim will not claim any marital rights on Meerub.
- If he attempts any such thing, the marriage would end and Meerub would file for a divorce
Here’s a snippet if you’re interested.
BTW, didn’t she have a folder for Murtasim? Folder mein notebook thhi?
By now, Murtasim’s heart had already changed. He prayed for Meerub at dargah, he doesn’t like seeing her cry so obviously he wants to marry this girl for real but for Meerub’s sake (and for his own, coz shadi ke baad ladki ko apni mohabbat mein giraftar karna is easier), Murtasim sifna the documents.
All said and done, I don’t know what Meerub has on mind. We are on team Murtasim peeps.
So, nikaah happens. Long story short, the bride and the groom are in their room.
I don’t understand, why is Salma Begum is entering Murtasim’s room without a knock or anything? I mean she does that twice. Uncool, whatever her intentions are
Things are going crazy now. I’m not too sure if I like Meerub anymore.
Review
I like the slow and continued track between Anwar and Meerub, as is the case with such “lay paalak” stories. Bas maza hi aa jata hai. Sohail and Farhan as usual carried this episode on their able shoulders.
