This one is part of my “Jogging Playlist”. That’s right. I jog, about once in a year. The music of this song, and this album, The Truth About Love pumps my blood enough to start jogging, kinda make me feel the angst the singer is feeling, want to run fast, break something, be strong… I don’t know if anybody else feels the same way about this song, but that’s just me.
- Try: To me, this song is an anthem for bruised hearts, second chances, and stubborn determination.
- Blow Me (One Last Kiss): A breakup anthem with attitude. Very P!nk. If Try is bruised and vulnerable, this one is kicking the door shut on the way out.
- True Love: A funny, honest take on long-term relationships. The chorus is basically “I love you, but you’re driving me insane.”
