Tere Bin | Episode 33

Introduction

Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.

Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.

On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.

Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 33 Written Update and Review

Assalam Alaikum guys, it’s your favorite drama addict Shabana Mukhtar, and I’m back with a review of the latest episode of “Tere Bin”.

The promise

So, Meerub catches Maryam going with Anas. She catches them. After some dialogue-bazi, Anas asks Meerub to make a promise that Maryam would marry Anas or she would help Maryam run away with Anas.

Crazy, right?

But Meerub agrees.

Let’s talk about Meerub, the girl who can’t seem to make up her mind. First, she’s angry about Maryam going out with Anas, then she agrees to make a promise that Maryam would marry Anas or run away with him. What was she thinking? I know love makes you do crazy things, but this was just too much. In her quest to bring happiness to Maryam, she’s doing silly things.

I didn’t like Meerub’s stance, let’s just say that.

Meerub & Maryam

I might not like that Meerub promises Anas. but her conversation with Maryam kinda makes up for it. Meerub has a heart to heart with Maryam, and it was quite touching.  I particularly liked how much she emphasized the “izzat” part. This lesson was a must.

It’s refreshing to see a conversation between two women where they’re not bickering or fighting over a man. Meerub tells Maryam that she wants her to be happy, but she also wants her to think about her decision carefully. That was sweet.

Naurez’s proposal

Moving on to Salma Begum, who’s as confused as a chameleon in a bag of skittles. She likes Naurez but doesn’t know if she should accept his proposal. I mean, come on, woman! He’s kind, caring, and rich, what’s there to think about? She wants to say yes, but she’s thinking how Haya would feel. I guess she’s must have given more thought to Maryam’s refusal.

The Malik’s

The Malik family drama keeps getting better and better. Anwar comes with the police to arrest Malik Zubair on the charge of killing three men. This irks Malik Mukhtar. Until now, he was like “chal apan dono dost dost”. Now that his son is arrested, all bets are off.

Until now, he was okay with making peace with Murtasim, he’s ready to go to war. It’s interesting to see how the dynamics of the family change with every episode.

Say yes to the proposal

And finally, the big news – Naurez’s proposal is accepted! Maryam and Meerub are in shock, and Haya is enjoying the drama. But what will Meerub do to “fix” the situation? I can’t wait to find out.

Concluding thoughts

Overall, this episode was dull. It had everything, from love to drama to family feuds. I didn’t like this episode at all. I mean, The USP of “Tere Bin” is #Meerasim.  But we didn’t see any of it, so…

I’m excited to see what happens next, and I’m sure you are too. Until next time, keep watching “Tere Bin” and keep living the drama!
