Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri Episode 2 Written Update and Review

This episode was so fast-paced. It packed a lot in less than forty minutes and my head is still spinning.

Without much further ado, let’s get to it.

Zobia is getting text messages from an unknown number. With her head already seeded with the idea that she is in love with Saim and that Saim might be in love with her, she assumes that it must be Saim. She even notices that while she was receiving messages, Saim was busy in his phone (while Saim was actually texting his friend Ali). Things go down the drain pretty quickly as Shaheer has gathered enough ammunition to instigate Saim.

At uni, Saim and his friends rehearse the song. And that’s when Shaheer starts saying shitty thing about Zobia. Saim beats Shaheer, things escalate quickly as the parents are called in. Before we know, Saim is dragged by police.

Ouch!

This episode wasn’t all gory. I liked the scenes where Saim was practicing how he would propose to Zobia. He was so awkward and so bad and it was so funny to watch him. Khushhal Khan wins my heart whether he was being awkward or his final rehearsal of proposal. This dude is talented.

While we are talking of performances, I will also admit that Dananeer’s portrayal of Zobia seems superficial. Or perhaps it’s just jer character? In short, not impressed so far. Others are a treat to watch, whether it’s Omair Rana or Ayesha Tur, whether it’s Naureen or Leyla Zubairi, they are so pleasing to watch.

Moving on…

I feel that Daniyal and Rushna’s love story isn’t given much time. They had a scuffle and it got resolved within a minute. I understand that the makers want to keep Saim and Zobia at the center of the drama but it wouldn’t hurt to see more of Rushna. You know how much I love to see Naureen. She’s so lovely.
