Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 39 Written Update and Review
Assalam Alaikum dear readers,
Does anyone mind that Meerub and Murtasim aren’t consistent in their usage of salutation. Kabhi tum, kabhi aap.
Oh, wait. I should start properly. This is Shabana Mukhtar, back with the review of the latest episode of “Tere Bin”. Without much further ado, let’s dive in.
A word on something from the previous episode
I think it was in last episode that Meerub tried to threaten Murtasim, who had a befitting response.
Murtasim: “Warna kya? Tum mujh se baat karna band kar dogi? Shaadi Tak apni zabaan band kar lo.”
Remember Murtasim once said that he wouldn’t be supporting Meerub’s shenanigans every time? I think he is done.
Meerub & Murtasim
Even now, Meerub is stubbornly chasing Anas’s matter.
Murtasim: Keep Maryam out of this
Meerub: I can’t. I promised her
Murtasim: This promise will push us away.
Meerub’s detour
Meerub leaves Murtasim and Haya in a shop and goes to meet Anas’s mother, because apparently Murtasim wouldn’t notice? Meerub takes Anas’s words on face value because she trusts a stranger more than she trusts her husband. What a genius Meerub is!
Murtasim’s secret
When they are home, Murtasim is too upset by Meerub’s silly behaviour. The conversation quickly heats up.
Meerub: “Chhin jane ki takleef tum kya jano.”
Murtasim: “Come, I will show you what I have lost.”
Then Murtasim shows his wife what he had to give up for his family. I think there was a foreshadowing about it in episode 3 or 4, but it was a nice resolution, and something to shut up Meerub.
Murtasim: “Chhin Jane ki takleef ka ehsaas hai mujhe isliye tumhari sab badtameezi seh jata hoon.”
And then comes the 3 magical words.
“I really love you, Meerub.”
Okay, that’s 5 words.
Wahaj Ali nailed his role in this episode. I mean, he is carrying this drama on his able shoulders but boy, this episode was like his best performances.
And the inevitable
Maryam comes to see Salma Begum one last time, and then Murtasim. This was her “kaha suna maaf karna” spree before she runs away.
Meerub sends off Maryam with Anas. Haya does what she does best-captures it all on her camera.
Kya chal raha hai iss drame mein? Could Meerub be so stupid? I need time to process this. Like, seriously?
Review
The review will come when I have calmed down.
