Yeah, I’m now commenting on cricket, because…why not?
— won.
Does it matter who won?
It was quite a neck-to-neck competition between Pakistan and South Africa. Both have been beaten by underdogs Afghanistan and Netherlands respectively.
Shaheen Shah Afridi took three wickets, Waseem took two, but Usama took the most important wicket of Aiden Markram. Waseem had cramps, and even went out of the field for a while. But he came back. Babar didn’ want Waseem to bowl, but this bowler is adamant. Rauf insisted on taking over, but no.
I was so hoping for Pakistan to win. Today, they showed a new side. There were much fewer fielding mistakes. Seven caught by these wonderful men who are famour for dropping catches.
What surprised me that two lower order batsman took singles for so long before Haris Rauf took one wicket.
After that, the match was played under pressure by both teams. Pakistan lost the review once, and there were three wide balls.
And then SA won by striking a boundary. Why do all the matches I watch end with a boundary?

PS: This isn’t real me. If you want a taste of that, and a my trademark philosophy and wit daily? Do three things, not necessarily in that order.
