Namak Haram Episode 5 Written Update and Review

Namak Haram is currently the most intriguing stories I’m watching. Without much further ado, let’s recap the fourth episode of Namak Haram.

Flashbacks

Alright, the latest episode of my current favourite drama is live.

Amin’s Dilemma

Amin Qureshi meets his business partner (who owns 30% against Qureshi’s majority) to ask for a favour, no surprises that he asks Malik to make Asma his bahu. Malik can’t even refuse properly, which irks Amin Qureshi even more.

He walks out and takes the car himself, not letting Mureed drive.

Asma’s Bold Move

The next thing we know, Asma is missing again. Except Asiya and Arsal, nobody cares about Asma.

“Let’s just pray that she doesn’t come back, ” Amin Qureshi says.

And where is Asma? She’s at a police station to register FIR for her own kidnapping. When the policemen learn about her lineage, they call Mureed.

The Proposal

“Mureed Kareemi, tumhara nikaah Asma ke saath hoga.” Amin Qureshi says.

And Mureed agrees. I guess it was all part of his big plan.

“Tumhari khwahish pe mere baap ki ghulami bhaari paR gayi,” Mureed talks to himself.

And guess who’s theost affected by this announcement? Not Asma, Aimal.

“I wouldn’t sacrifice my love,” Aimal says.

And that’s when the episode ends. I hate people who leave a comment on every episode of every drama: who wants two episodes per week.  But I may want to say that, too. I wouldn’t mind watching another episode of Namak Haram right now.

Review

Imran Ashraf nails it yet again with his power packed performance (love the alliteration). From his swag with which he dons the sunglasses to the way he causally and nonchalantly eats breakfast when everyone else leaves the breakfast table, every move is so calculated and precise. Mureed is his best character, I guess. Of course, there is Bhola from Ranjha Ranjha Kardi that we all have come to love and adore but Mureed is on another level.

Sara is also quite impressive with her portrayal of Asma. Also, the chemistry between Sara and Imran is setting the screens ablaze.

I also liked the cinematography. The dark shots, the rains, the way vehicles stop… So dramatic… Mazey…

Namak Haram is currently the most intriguing stories I’m watching. Don’t you agree?
