Adding Aab-e-Hayat (Umera Ahmed) to my Bookshelf

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m slowly working towards making my own library.

Small confession: I had one, but I gave away most of the books to a local library. I wasn’t in the right of state of mind, of course.

Now, a few years later, as I finally have a dedicated room for books, I’m on a book-haul spree. I’m finding several websites where I can buy new and gently-used books.

Right now, I’m back to apni dukaan Amazon. I’ve always wanted to buy a few novels, primarily by Umera Ahmed and Nemrah Ahmed. So, when I got a good deal on Umera Ahmed’s books, I just couldn’t refuse the temptation.

The Unboxing

Since it was a single book in the package, there was nothing much to unbox. I liked how the book was packed in three layers, though-the Amazon.in packaging, bubble wraps to pop and the book in a thin plastic sheet. The book took two weeks to arrive, but boy was it worth the wait.

You can buy the book here.

Book Review?

I’ve already read these books a couple of times, in PDF. I have a very short review on goodreads, but I know this book deserves better than that. As soon as Ramzan is over, I will dive in, and have a book review ready soon. In Sha Allah.

Until next time, happy reading!
