Dil Wali Gali Mein | Episode 17

Despite all the anxiety and people asking for rokda at every step, Mujtaba and Khadeeja pack their bags and boxes (from their respective houses) and start setting up their home.

As usual, it’s Ishtiyaq who consoles Durdana giving birds’ example, how the mother-bird lets the kid-birds get their own food. I loved the analogy.

In a rare moment of papta, Bilal snaps at Lubna, calling out her, Cookie, and Dabboo’s heartlessness for Mujtaba and Khadeeja. And I was like, too little, too late. Later, while packing bags, Cookie keeps asking questions to judge what kinda place Khadeeja is living in. I was like, aisi behnein kahan hoti hain bey? I mean, I have seen a fair share of dramas and movies in my life with all sorts of sisters, sister rivalry is prevalent in many prime time dramas and soaps, lekin itna casually toxic sister kisi ko nahin dekha.

Anywho, that’s the episode. Oh, it ends as Sakhi visits with his right-hand man Billa and left-hand man Guddu.

Excited for the next episode.

The Moments From Today’s Episode That Won My Heart

When Mujji took his mother’s leave…

Kya scene hai bhai!

When Durdana is amazed by Ishtiyaq’s positivity…

Ishtiyaq: Fikr na karein madam, sab theek ho jayega

Durdana: Khushfehmiyan paalte huye thakte nahin ho?

Ishtiyaq: Khushfehmiyan nahin paalunga to thak jaunga

Kya positivity hai bhai!

When Anwar sees Mujtaba’s exasperation as everyone in the godaam says salaam to him. He’s enjoying the situation, and is also happy for his friend.

Kya dost hai bhai!

When Ishtiyaq sees Fayeza but says nothing because he had promised his wife that he wouldn’t take to Fayeza unless in front of her and Durdana.

Kya control hai bhai!
