Aik Aur Pakeezah Episode 6 Written Update and Review
The Perfect Couple
Saman and Zubair get enagaged, but not before a long discussion and us listening to Saman’s mother’s rambling about the bygone era, and how severe her inferiority complex is. Saman’s friends keep asking about the wedding, Asim even goes on to suggest that they (Saman and Zubair) have probably dropped the idea.
And then Saman shows them the ring.
Asim’s reaction was hilarious. He had given some villain like vibes in the first episode but he’s a good guy, now we know.

And then, just as the gang begins to celebrate, Aslam comes over to deliver some files and has to click a picture of them.

The T word
Faraz comes back after his shift, but says nothing to Pakeezah. Pakeezah finds something in his bag, and hands it to him. She is not the one to avoid confrontation, is she? Faraz begins to ramble:
- why he met his sister he lovingly calls Bajo: because she insisted. He couldn’t say no to her as she’s facing wrath from her husband Tariq, and even getting threats of divorce.
- where he met: at a cafe, because Bajo suggested.
And then he goes on to say a lot of things. Pakeezah just knows the reason behind all the rambling. And then, because he is not a seasoned liar, the truth comes out.
Faraz: Main kyun dunga tujhe talaq kisi ke kehne par.Pakeezah: Kisi aur ke kehne par nikaah toh kiya na.
The Secret
Just as we expected at the end of the last episode, Pakeezah has taken up a job at the shoe factory. Deema, the guy who was smoking at the terrace earlier, brings the shoes and soles for Pakeezah to attach and pack. They are quite friendly, he clears up her mistakes of handiwork, and doesn’t even deduct any money. One day, he rambles about how he adores his sister who is fond of cricket and all. The conversation inevitably reminds Pakeezah of herself and Asghar. Once, Deema asks Pakeezah .
Deema: Kahan tak padha hai aap ne?
Class 8, Pakeezah lies.
Deema: Aapki English sun kar toh lagta nahin.
So, Deema has seen the video. I wondered, for a bit, if his friendly nature is because he is seen the video. But the way he insists Pakeezah to stay put and not show up at the karkhana, I think he is one of those genuine kind souls.
The episode ends as Faraz says that one line that Pakeezah had been dreading.
Faraz: “Paas to tu bhi nahin aane deti Pakeezah.”
