Sirf Shabana Episode 5 Written Update and Review
Safiya confronts Bano about her evident displeasure about Bilal and Shabana.
Bilal ke liye Shabana se behtar ladki khwabon mein bhi nahin mil sakti.
I adore Bilal and his shenanigans but this is where he isn’t enough. I mean, he should have said something to his mother, which she would interpret as “abhi se Shabana ki tareefein karne lag gaya”. I don’t know what I am talking about but he lacks a spine which husbands should have.
Outside, Shabana is being Shabana and confidently dealing with the situation, helping Kabeer with phone numbers etc to sort out the karigar situation.
The scene alludes that Kabeer is smitten with Shabana but I hated, hated, hated how dadi teased him about it. I feel this dadi is a bit too friendly and kinds psycho. Remember how she lied to Kabeer over phone so he would rush to her? And Shabana is already engaged. Phir what’s the point of teasing Kabeer about her? I don’t know why it’s bothering me so much.
Hina learns that Shabana is marrying Bilal just because… Emotional scene.
Nusrat has complete hold over his family. Like, when talking to Jamal, Jamal is a bit snappy but Nusrat has such fitting replies, maza aa gaya. He even speaks favourably for Bilal’s “business”. I liked it but I fear that his arrogance will be a problem, soon.
Bilal is suddenly in love with Shabana just when she’s clicking a picture of them together do that the marriage of convenience feels more real. He brings gifts for Shabana and looks all goofily at Shabana. Fun scene.
Day of nikaah, he can’t find izaarband. Tara for rescue, from helping Bilal getting ready to arranging a car (which was Jamal’s responsibility).
The baraat comes. Bano and Ayesha come to see Shabana but a new lukhha comes in to say shitty things and just like that…the wedding is called off. This time, even Safiya seems to not trust Shabana. I was like, WTH?
Okay, now I have things to say. This drama brings in tragedy so randomly. I hate it. I know, bad things happen to good people in fiction but there’s some build up, something. Itna randomly the scene was flipped. It is probably that lukhha Rafay. Why wouldn’t be leave Shabana alone? Not a big fan of this sudden twist even though I understand why it’s done. We could have done better… But still continuing. On to episode 6.
