Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.
When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Doctor Bahu Episode 7 Written Update and Review
Toxic Abba
Okay, that was a surprise. I came to see toxic Abba and Abba surprised me. I think, in this short seven-episode run, Shahnawaz did something good for the first time, as in something that we all can agree that he did good. For him, he’s always right. What he did was to support Mina. How? Let me tell you. That’s what I’m here for.
The scene begins with Farheen watching some show. Shahnawaz asks why she’s so interested in the show suddenly, to which she replies: I’m going on for an interview. In typical Shahnawaz style, reprimand and insults come Farheen’s way. Of the many things he said, one that stuck was:
Shahnawaz: You can’t run the house. Can’t you manage the clinic without Mina?
But… I’m getting ahead of myself.
Mina comes to ask about Faizan, that she is unable to reach him, and that he left hospital early. Our toxic Abba directly calls Dr Ambar and asks about Faizan. She refuses that she knows anything about Faizan. Then, Shahnawaz asks Mina to attend the management meetings for a couple of months. Remember, this guy doesn’t want Mina to practice what she specializes in (Gynaecology) and doesn’t want her to be a part of management, but just because he wasn’t on-board with Ambar’s selection, he has flipped. Whatever his motives are, I liked how he took Mina’s side for once.
So, Mina is to attend the management meetings, worrying Farheen and her concern: how will I manage without Mina, and the aforementioned taunt.
The Other Woman
Right, so next morning, Faizan isn’t too thrilled to learn that Mina is going to join them at the hospital. In the hospital, Ambar and Faizan argue. Maine tumhein dhoka nahin diya and all… (more to come, but posting right away because sometimes I lose my drafts. Please come back and read again. This review is going to be long.).
Toxic Ammi
Yep, there’s that.
The Couple
Salman is spending a lot of time and effort in wooing Sania, like it.
