Winter Love Episode 3 Written Update and Review
I…don’t really want to recap because recapping a rom-com (more like wannabe rom-com) is difficult. Here’s a quick list of notable events.
1. Meerub and Zark talk about each other, and plan to introduce Zark to Mushk.
2. Mushk tells Meerub: you’re so young.
And this got my approval. I mean, look at Zark and Meerub, how old are they? 12? I exaggerate for drama but they really really are young.
3. Roshni phupho used to be in love with Qadeer Mamu who now lives in diyar-e-ghair and selfishly keep asking for his share in the property. I like what Mashal said: hamesha yaad rakhungi main.
I tend to do that as well, things that hurt a lot and I can’t do anything about it, I vow to remember it forever. I forget, of course, but that’s just how life works.
4. Both Hayat and Mushk are into literature/poetry, so at least something they have in common.
5. Several run-ins between Mushk and Hayat that highlight:
A. Comedy is not working in this drama
B. Rom-com is also not working
C. Hayat and Mushk are too different, and Mawra feels out of place in this role. I’m sorry but she’s become an expert in serious, sensitive roles, like that one where she married Arsalan Naseer and then remarried Mariam Nafees, or Meherbano or sabaat… The list is long. And I guess I proved my point. Khushhal is trying, I can say, but usko bhi suit nahin kar raha yeh role.
D. They HAVE NO CHEMISTRY.
And I guess that’s all I want to say for episode 3 of Winter Love. Off to watch toxic abba and pange-baaz bahu.
