Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.
When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Doctor Bahu Episode 10 Written Update and Review
This drama is only arguments and fights and confrontations and very little else to go on.
Salman argues with his father, “blah blah blah”. Shahnawaz is like “rebel without a cause” and walks out. Ouch! That must have hurt.
Salman invites farheen to Islamabad for his app launch. She says no. Salman walks out. Farheen then blames everything on Sania. Sania is like, “don’t we have an identity?” She seriously needs to enunciate. When she talks, all I hear is that gibberish scene from Chennai Express. Wait, let me find out if there’s a clip.
Saeeda comes home to a warm welcome, very nice scene, a much needed breather in this otherwise suffocating storyline.
In Farheen’s room, she comments on a post by Saeeda, the cancer aunty. How would Farheen react when she finds out who that cancer lady is? I’m sure she’ll find a way to blame Sania for it 😀
Salman meets his lawyers to Waqas case. He sees Riyaz there. Like a good damaad, he offers help. Nice scene.
Ambar and Faizan argue about their unnamed relationship. Ambar asks Faizan to leave Mina and Faizan explains why he can’t. I wasn’t sure if Faizan gets brownie points for his reasons to not leave his wife or be laughed at for cheating on his wife and still being a saint. Mina overhears the conversation, by the way. Half of it. She doesn’t hear that Ambar has called things off when Faizan asked for more time to push back Shahnawaz and his interfering ways.
Chalo, gal hi muk gayi.
And then blah blah blah, Shahnawaz agrees to let Farheen go to Islamabad. Back in Karachi, he first meets Sania’s dean of college, and then attends a conference where Dr Rubina is also a speaker. He tells her:
You have interviews for residency at your hospital, my bahu is coming, shouldn’t be selected.
Rubina: why, you couldn’t control her?
Shahnawaz: that’s my personal matter
Rubina: and this is our professional matter. Don’t try to control it.
The best part of this episode hands down. I had been waiting for Atiqa Odho’s entry and it happened with such a bang. Dhamaka hi ho gaya bhai. She’s always been gorgeous but after losing some weight, these days she’s like Ma Sha Allah!
And they (Shahnawaz and Rubina) are clearly old flames. Now, this is the story I’d like to watch. Honestly, until this point, I had kinda given up on the story and was committed only to do the mindless and unattached review, as I do every Monday with my team; but now… Things are interesting again. Rubina will hire Sania, just to show Shahnawaz she can’t be controlled. The license part, that’s something I’m not too sure about.
And this is at least an hour after drafting the post. Forgot to hit publi
sh. Me and my brain fog.
