Doctor Bahu | Episode 12

Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.

When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Writer: Sanam Mehdi Zaryab.

Doctor Bahu Episode 12 Written Update and Review

Salman is up now. Usual romance stuff between Sania and Salman.

I liked Riyaz and Zainab’s stance when Sumaira’s in-laws-to-be suddenly come for a visit, more like an enquiry. And then they admit of doing an “enquiry”. Kaise kaise log hote hain duniya mein.

We have a case in court against them and they’re trying to mentally torture us.

First Farheen, then Sania and finally Shahnawaz, they all try to convince Sania to not give residency interview. Shahnawaz repeats his threat of cancelling Sania license to kill… I mean, license to practice medicine.

And that’s just Sania. Next, he reminds Mina who’s the boss, and then to Farheen. In short, he wins all the games in this episode. Called it 😎

Owing to the threat, or just some simple logic, Sania agrees to do residency at Shahnawaz’s hospital.

Okay, quick confession: at this point ,I’m tired of typing Shahnawaz’s name, somehow mobile’s auto complete isn’t working for this name, so I’m going to call him Dr. Shah now on.

Salman is pissed with Sania’s decision of residency so they fight. Ugly.

Shahnawaz doesn’t want to let Waqas go easy. He’s not even willing to talk to his family. Waqas’s mother meets Salman to plead for Waqas’ freedom and how badly police is beating him. Salman promises to look into it.

کبھی کبھی جنگ میں دشمن کو وار کرنے دینا چاہیے ۔

This drama is like a sine wave, kabhi too high kabhi too low. I feel the high should be the Saturday episode so viewers would want to come back, no? This episode was quite bleh.

Parting Thought: Dr Rubina dissing about Dr Shahnawaz in front of staff was in bad taste but boy did Atiqa Odho look like a million bucks. Make that a billion .
