Mitti De Baway Episode 13 Written Update and Review

1. Baala’s “daringbaazi”

Baala is beating up a guy who snitched about him, offers cash price for mukhbiri. Then, he appears at the police station himself. I wonder how he’d react when Qadar snitches?

2. Billo’s “daringbaazi”

Remember the guy who came to Billo for dua to get “his girl”. Billo calls the MNA, father of the girl. Snitches, promises to give taweez that will persuade the bride to say yes to her wedding. In return, she asks the father for “connections” to some police officer. Kareem smiles. Later, Billo meets the goons who want taweez to save themselves from Baala. Billo suggests using the other route and “handling” the police instead. The fee? 100K, 25K upfront, remaining on success.

Here’s the plan. She’d kinda blackmail not just MNA, but MNA’s damaad DSP Nawaz as well.

3. Phadda

Zareena learns about Baala’s second wedding. The confrontation was prolonged and ugly. Zareena reveals that Baala loves someone else. Now, Qamrunnisa is weeping. And Baala is mad at Joji.

4. The Unexpected Bonding

Haneef tells Joji about his own younger brother and his own sob story. Joji is still mad at Baala.

Jeevey mera bhai, meri gali gali bharjai.

I just love the punjabi accent.

Parting Thoughts

Loved Mehmood Aslam’s small appearance as MNA father-of-the-rebel-girl and Hina Afridi acted well as Qamrunnisa. Wahaj’s angry dialogues are through gritted teeth which makes me think that he can’t emote anger well. I particularly loved how the episode ended as DSP Nawaz comes to meet “Bibi Ji”.

Parting Question

The first time MNA comes, Billo meets him across the purdah. The second time, she meets him face-to-face. WTF? Why? No explanation?
