Sirf Shabana | Episode 11

Sirf Shabana presents the story of an educated, independent yet deeply sensitive young woman who longs for a simple but powerful right: to have her own name stand alone, without being defined by a father or a husband. Her journey unfolds as a courageous fight against societal norms, legal barriers, and emotional struggles, as she strives to claim an identity that truly belongs to her.

Sirf Shabana Episode 11 Written Update and Review

“Kahin nikaah toh nahin kar liya tum logo ne?”
This and other questions weird out Shabana enough for her to step aside and call Kabeer. Kabeer’s is like, I know what she’s thinking and what she’s asking. Let me come there and handle the situation. Don’t say anything. I don’t want to upset her before the surgery. I have nobody else.
What the F? I mean, sure, I get it. She’s heart patient and would probably not be able to handle tension but dadi ki harkatein dekhein aap. I’d say let her have a heart attack. Sudhar jayegi. And that’s not a good enough reason to ask someone to lie about their relationship status. She’s all chirpy when talking to Shabana and when Kabeer comes in, Dadi karahne hi lag gayin. I’m so pissed right now. I’m going to stop watching the episode and go crush some candies. Level 21246.
Okay, I’m back.
So, as soon as Kabeer says: there’s nothing between me and Shabana. Dadi ludhak hi gayin. Will she survived? I don’t know. But I don’t want her to.
And as expected, Kabeer lies some more to dadi out of fear. Shabana gave him an earful (and rightly so) about these lies and his intentions; we already know she’s and expert in zero to hundred. She directly jumps to “akeli aurat khuli hui tijori”… I mean, “akele hone ka fayeda na uthayein”.
Kabeer wants her against leaving the apartment, alone but she doesn’t listen.
Shehr naya hai magar akele rehne ki aadat purani hai.
Ji baaji ji. Jaise aap kahein 😀
Now, she has moved into a place where theft is common. I heard this, and went: Bangalore. More on that some other time.
At office, Tauqeer is asking someone to investigate Shabana. Who she is? Why did she come from hasil pur? He has apprehensions about girls from small villages. Apparently his Mehr was a selfish person.
Cut to flashback of Tauqeer and Mehr, Tauqeer being lovey dovey, Mehr giving cold shoulder and Mehr ki ammi clearly hiding why Mehr is being such a b-itch.
ہمت ہار جانے سے محبت ہار جانا بہتر ہے۔
Bachhe, you’re too young to talk about mohabbat. Uff, kahan bhaguun?
Anywho, Bilal wants to talk to his abba, who isn’t there so his mother (forgot her name, what was it, Bano?) and him talk. He learns that Nusrat sees himself in Bilal, and fears the same fate: failure to be a respected adeeb. And then Bano says: Shabana toh apne saath tumhari hansi bhi ke gayi.
Bilal’s “apni ghalti ka ilzam dusro par na dalein” was so quick, it was painfully funny.
Bilal and Mannu are making good profit and he has sold his bike to give some money for the construction that Jamal has been promising for years. Nusrat refuses to take the money but Bilal insists:
Hasraton ko zyada daba rakhein toh zehr ban jati hain.
Yeh drama Dorab ke Abba ne likha hai kya? The whole drama aside, his lines are always good. That been said, I’m not too happy with the storyline. But I’ve already drafted posts upto episode 30, all of it will go waste of i stop watching this drama now. So here’s whar we’re going to do. One more episode and then take a final call. To watch or not to watch, that is the question.
