Kafeel Episode 34 Written Update and Review
Knowing Umera Ahmed, I balf-anticipated a not-so-happy ending. But she surprised me. Zeba marries Jamal, Warda comes back to Saif’s house (but not without some drama) and Subuk and Daneen ki baat pakki ho gayi.

I have a lot to say about this drama based on the three episodes I watched and several short clips, but I’ll keep this one short and specific to this episode.
Warda’s mother hammed, sooo cringe it was to watch her worry, ekdum upar upar se. Warda could have called and informed her mother that she’s going home, even if “apne Ghar aane ke liye intezaar nahin karna hota”. Tareeqa saleeqa hota hai bahen har baat ka.
Speaking of overacting, Jamal’s mother-in-law Habiba… What was wrong with her? Why was her voice quivering? Bimar toh nahin thhi woh? Bahot zor is overacting lagi unki.
As for Daneen and Subuk… Apparently (and so in-your-face) surprise visit of Jamal and Zeba bringing in Subuk’s proposal for Daneen. I mean, she still has teddy bear with her in the bed and uski shaadi ki baat honi hai. I don’t know why I found it cringe. I mean, I have read stories and watched dramas with young, very young people in love and even marriage (khwaab saraye being a prime example, and recently there was that Mayi Ri, didn’t watch but it was like kids getting married and having kids of their own) but somehow this left a bad taste in my mouth. That Daneen actress needs to work on her walk. It was so plain, so unlike how heroines walk. Itna makeup kar liya hai toh thoda more grooming is needed.
Cute expression on Ashir, though.

And lastly, Sanam’s bridal look. Uff Allah! She reminded me of Kashf, and i don’t know how but she looks prettier now. Just wow yaar!!!

Loved that the newlyweds were eating, very real.

And on that note, Allah hafiz, I’m off to watch Sirf Shabana episode 11.
