Zanjeerain Episode 2 Written Update and Review
The beginning of the episode has some fluffy scenes like Bibi jaan worrying for Sherdil and Gul knowing that he isn’t well but hiding it.
You’re sardar’s wife, have some courage.
Rabiya’s father asks her to ignore tharki.
Mujhe us ki tum par nazar se khauf aata hai.
Mujhe bhi chacha.
I forgot to mention it in the last episode but this guy Usman Javed, always picks up such tharki roles. I can’t imagine him being a nice guy which is so unfair. I mean, sure, he has got the looks to be a typical baddie but at least have some diversity of choice.
Bano dreams about Sar Buland’s head being shot. Is that what Sarkar was referring to? I don’t like when stories have problematic themes like depending too much on some dua on a Baba ka mazaar, mannat, and this thing that people can predict future basis hath ki lakeerein. Ghaib ka ilm Allah ko hai. Bas.
Anyway, she runs to see Sar Buland’s room, tells him about bura khwab. And I was like: tch, bolte nahin hai bey khwab ke baare mein, especially burey khwab ke baare mein.
Some romantic fluff and then she leaves. She hears voices on the way back, spooky music so I had to mute it to watch.
Tharki’s right hand man says: she insulted you. Bol toh uthha lata hoon. Tharki got upset, hit his own friend.
I want to make her bahu of this haveli, respectfully. Don’t say shit about her. I’m leaving you alive because we’re childhood friends.
Toh Rabiya ki wajah se dosti mein daraR aayi hai. Not her fault, but that’s what has happened, right? His name is Torsam, it seems. I had to go back to 1x speed and rewind several times to hear it properly. We’ll call him Tarzan okay? Or, as my 19 months old nephew says, aa’ka?
Tarzan is Bano’s chacha zaad bhai, sutela. He and Sohrab look very alike, even Ahsan. All brothers/cousins have kanji eyes. Bas Daniyal is misfit, waise bhi he’s getting killed if the dream is true.
Torsam’s mother Zarsanga (another recall of Sang-e-Maah) passed away while giving birth to Torsam. Agha jaan wanted Bibi Jaan to raise Torsam like her own son but she couldn’t. Sautan ka beta and all. Zarsanga was married to Agha Jaan because of khoon baha of sorts.
There was the shikaar scene. Bleh.
And then we meet langra Zafran Khan. He kills two of his men who were caught and beaten up by Sherdil’s men. The third one is hospitalized. Usko baad mein marenge. And then he walks away without so much as a sweat.
Rant begins now, you can stop reading at this point.
Today was crazy, only a couple of hours of sleep, watching people get by without coding a single line while I get two more defect when I fix four. There is one senior developer in my team who worked on one module in the past 20 months. And I did three. Now, i get assigned work on those three modules and in areas that SDET and a junior developer worked on. I don’t understand the assignment logic. I could suffer silently or bring it to manager’s notice. Manager did nothing, said nothing and asked me to work on four tickets a day.
Salaam!
