Pehli Barish Episode 5 Written Update and Review
Dadi has bought a lot of dresses for Dania, which Maani doesn’t like. Maani thinks that Dania is at wrong, Dadi blames things on Behzad. Who to believe? Don’t ask me.
Maani brings Dadi to Nawal’s house, and runs into Nimra. He takes her to the beach. And then they fight. Maani is seriously upset, and I’m seriously considering putting Maani in “the list”, list of all-time favourite heroes. I mean, abhi tak toh kafi sensible hai.

Dania gets papers from Asim, and weeps. Maani comes to deliver the dresses. There’s some arugment as usual. Maani may be right but he should treat Dania well. Later, when she runs into Maani at university, Maani insults Dania again. Ab zyada ho raha hai.
By the way, Faiza Hassan is so freaking pretty. And she is dressing so modestly. I don’t know if it’s a character choice or actor choice, just something I noticed.

Behzad and Maleeha talk over video call (ahem), and Behzad kinda plans a date. And then we see some flashbacks. Purani love story is sweet but it has no zing, y’know. Sab sweet hai, kuch conflict nahin hai abhi tak.

The episode ends as Nawal and Nimra discuss Maani and Nimra feels a tinka her dadhi. She’s perpetually scared that Nawal will find out about her. Why not just tell her and be done with it?
