PS: I’m not happy with the screenshot but it was the best I could do. I haven’t brought my headphones here (I’m in Pune) and can’t watch the usual way (on my android phone) so had to watch on laptop and it wasn’t behaving nicely.
A new drama by Umera Ahmed. That’s all I want to say.

Dar-e-Nijaat Episode 21 Written Update And Review
Okay, so Zaryab broke a glass in previous episode, right? She is wounded.
Abu Bakar wakes up next morning, tends to Zaryab’s wounds, gives her a small lecture (because…why not?)
Abu Bakar: We shouldn’t go near things that can hurt us.
Zaryab gets Abu Bakar’s phone to call her father but ends up checking Abu Bakar’s conversation with Zamil; which Abu Bakar knows because he just knows everything.
Abu Bakar’s recitation helped me soothe, it is one of those verses that always ground me.
Abu Bakar bahot hi zyada fictitous hai na? Like Salaar from Aab-e-Hayaat. He reminds me of that meme: aisa kabhi hota hai kya?
And what’s with Zaryab and her shitty behaviour with Khushbakht? Khushbakht apni bahu ke aage pichhe phir rahi hai and Zaryab doesn’t even respond. Later, she treats her father the same way. Someone slap this girl hard so she comes to her senses.
Did anyone notice that Abu Bakar once gave his chador to Zaryab? And in last episode, he asks Zaryab: ho sake toh shalwar kameez pahenna. And today, when Khushbakht is taking Zaryab to the doctor, she also brings a chador. I can literally see captions on still from this episode where people will condemn Abu Bakar and Khushbakht for not respecting Zaryab’s choice. To them, I say: when in Rome, do as the Romans, do, right? Jaisa mahol hai, waise hi rehna hota hai. Zaryab ko khud hi samajhna thha but uss se kya hi expect kar sakte hain.
